Yes there are. This is my favorite stretch of the river. http://bit.ly/15WJf

If you have big brass balls you can navigate the whole thing in summer. Get off at (I think it's) exit 34 where Kens Diner is. Turn right, drive about a half mile, turn left and drive to the end of the road where it's a cul-de-sac and the trail head. Hike with the river on your right until it dissapears and the hike starts gaining altitude. Go over the top of the ridge and come down the other side and then take a right and follow the small trail that leads to the river. Then start hiking downstream. The river takes a left bend and then a right. Just before the right ou'll need to slide down the dry waterfall to get into the canyon. Now it starts getting hairy so please don't drown. Fish and wade your way down the canyon. you should see a huge log jammed halfway up the canyon wall. The fish here are big and smart. You can wade, swim and hike through the canyon until the other end where you can either swim across the pool or hike up the left bank around to where it's shallow and wade across.

Good luck!

I have a feeling this page is long forgotten, but I thought I'd try anyway...I fish the middle fork, but have been intrigued by the south fork of the Snoqualmie. Is there really fish in there to be caught? I don't expect you to give up your secrets...but if I know they're there, somewhere, I'll go looking. Lemme know if you still monitor this.
